Felicia A. Belcher
A native of Atlanta, Georgia and a proud product of the Atlanta Public School System, Felicia is the youngest daughter of Nelscine Ellis. She received her formal education from West Manor Elementary, Jean Childs Young Middle, and Frederick Douglass High School. She went on to attend Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education in May 2010. Felicia is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Education majoring in Instructional Technology and plans to graduate May 2014.
Professionally, Felicia began her teaching career at Parkside Elementary School and is now in her third year of teaching at L.O. Kimberly Elementary School as a third grade teacher. She also serves as the head coach for Maynard H. Jackson High School Cheerleaders and the L.O. Kimberly Stinger Cheerleaders. Felicia has always had a passion to work with youth and their education, especially young ladies.
Ms. Belcher is an active member in her community. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, Tau Epsilon Omega Chapter and Spelman College National Alumni Association. She continues to improve her profession daily and inspires others to reach for their goals.
